I'm still in the process of opening my webstore, hopefully it'll be open by mid or late September! I'm so excited! This really is a great week, I got to spend some time with my friends before I leave, I opened the accounts I just mentioned, Friday is my birthday and hopefully a good friend of mine might visit me, and I leave the island on Saturday to start my sophomore year at college! YAY!

I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks to all the people here in dA for all their wonderful comments, favs, watches, advice, and overall support! I always make sure to respond and thank everyone personally but I just want to say thanks again! If it weren't for all you wonderful people I might not have gained the self-confidence I needed to start my store, so here's to you! Thank you!

So I'm finally getting my butt in line and starting up my new business! It's called Punch Love Designs and it's going to be awesome! I've made logos and packaging already and I also have dedicated a dA portfolio to it! punchlovedesigns.cleanfolio.co… Check it out and tell me what you think I also used CSS on my gallery pages so take a look at my jewelry gallery and all the others to see something cool! I'm making TONS of more jewelry so that way I have enough inventory until winter break. College life does not provide me with time to make things XD. I've begun to use some colored aluminum wire now, oooooh! I can't wait to post everything but I still have to take pictures.

Question, of those of you who know about Etsy and Artfire, which of the two sites would you recommend? Artfire seems like the better value but Etsy looks like it has a larger audience, so I'm not sure which to pick. Anyone care to offer advice?

Also, I'm thinking of writing a weekly, or maybe monthly, news article that features new but nice jewelry submissions? I would make it weekly but I'm not sure if I can keep up some weeks with all the college work I'll be having. What do you think?

So I've been home for a few weeks now and I could not be happier! Things have been going amazing since I got here but I'm sad I wasn't able to get a job I'm really annoyed that I'm not doing anything this summer, so I'm hoping I'll be able to do some volunteer work or something. I'm happy I have time for my art though! I might buy a new batch of jewelry making supplies and start making jewelry again. I left all my supplies and nice beads in the storage facility back where my college is.

Speaking of college, I'm must say I kinda miss it. I'm really pumped to get started on my video game design classes this fall. I just got an email yesterday saying I got two new scholarships too! Now I have four scholarships XD I'm so happy <3.

Oh, and I'm going to my first cosplay convention soon! I'm so excited! I'm not sure what I'm going to be yet but I'll be sure to post pictures! I'm definitely going to be something from Pokemon <3 I'm really looking forward to meeting a bunch of new people and checking out all the cool stuff! I'm also going with some of my best friends (shout-out to one of them, Luis, for being so supportive of my artistic endeavors and for giving me honest critiques on my art Plus for being an amazing friend, lol)!

Yeah, I also wanted to apologize for being such a bad watcher to my fellow deviants. I like to look through all the deviations in my inbox and I'm sorry I comment or etc. so late on many of them. I'm always so busy :S I hope you all are doing well.
